Provider appointments: what to expect

When you start treatment with Mavrox, you're not just buying pills online — you're working with a clinician. A US-licensed provider reviews your intake, approves your prescription, and oversees your treatment from the start, and stays available to you throughout your time with Mavrox.

Your initial assessment

Your provider relationship begins with your intake questionnaire. This is where your provider gathers the health history they need to determine whether treatment is appropriate for you — and if so, which formula and dose.

Disclose any allergies during your assessment. Your provider reviews every active and inactive ingredient in a formula against your medical history before prescribing. If a formula isn't safe for you based on an allergy or other factor, they'll recommend an alternative or pause treatment rather than move forward with something that could put you at risk.

Understanding side effects

Common side effects can include headache, flushing, nasal congestion, indigestion, back pain, or muscle aches. Most are mild and temporary. Rare but serious side effects exist too, including changes in vision or hearing and prolonged erections lasting more than four hours — both of which require immediate medical attention.

Because side effects can vary by formula and dose, talk to your provider for the full safety profile of your specific treatment, or contact support from your member portal and ask to talk to a nurse.

Ongoing access to your provider

Care doesn't stop after your first prescription is approved. Your US-licensed provider is available throughout treatment — you can also get connected with a member of the medical team through your patient portal to ask questions, adjust dosing, or discuss side effects. Just message "talk to a nurse" to get started.

Whether something feels off, you want to explore a different strength, or you just have a question about your treatment, your provider is there to help you through it.

The bottom line

Every step — from your first assessment to any changes down the road — is overseen by a licensed clinician who reviews your health history. That's what sets prescription treatment apart from picking something off a shelf: a real provider making sure what you're taking is actually right for you.
