Roxus® is a fast-acting nasal spray formulation designed to support erectile function. Because it's delivered nasally rather than swallowed, it works a little differently than a pill — here's what to know before your first use, and how to handle common sensations along the way.
How fast does it work?
Roxus® is designed for rapid absorption, with peak blood levels occurring in as little as 5 minutes, compared to the 30–120 minutes typical of oral ED tablets. Because it bypasses the digestive process entirely, there's no need to plan a dose an hour or more ahead of time.
| Peak Blood Levels |
Roxus® | < 5 minutes |
Oral tablets | 30–120 minutes |

Before your first use
A few things matter most when you're just getting started:
Technique is everything. Follow the written instructions carefully — good technique is the single biggest predictor of a good outcome.
Brief nasal sensations are expected. A mild sting, a sneeze, or temporary congestion can happen and typically resolves within 3–5 minutes. This isn't a sign that your dose has failed.
Don't take a second dose if you sneeze. Follow your instructions as written, and contact support if you're ever unsure.
What the bottle contains
Each 5 ml bottle contains approximately 28 sprays, providing 14 doses (2 sprays per dose — one spray per nostril). Prime the bottle with 3–4 pumps, or until you see a fine mist, before your first use.
Common sensations and how to manage them
It's normal to notice some nasal sensations, especially early on. Here's a quick guide:
Sneezing: Usually related to technique — aim the spray toward the outer side of your nostril rather than the septum.
Nasal sting: A common, temporary effect that tends to improve with regular use (around 1–2 times per week).
Weak or no effect: Avoid hard sniffing after spraying, and double-check your aim and technique.
Headache: Stay hydrated, and be mindful of heat exposure or alcohol use, which can make headaches more likely.
Drip down the throat: Try tilting your head slightly forward rather than back when spraying.
No nasal sensation at all: Make sure the bottle has been primed and your nasal passage is clear before use.
A simple tip that helps with several of these: after spraying, pinch your nostrils closed for about 30 seconds. This helps keep the medication where it needs to be and can reduce irritation.
Do nasal sensations improve over time?
Yes. Most people find that nasal sensations reduce with regular dosing at around 1–2 times per week.
